"The future lies all before us. Shall it only be a light advance upon what we usually do? Ought it not to be a bound, a leap forward to altitudes of endeavor and success undreamed of before?" [Annie Armstrong]
Isn't the anticipation of a future situation thrilling? ...or maybe not.
Hmm, I guess one would have to look at the key variable as to whether a similar situation from one's past proved to be a great experience in one's life
or possibly a terrible one.
This would then turn the anticipation of the upcoming future situation into a terrific tomorrow or a terrible tomorrow which you dread.
It's interesting how we sometimes choose to allow past circumstances to dictate our attitude toward future events that may or may not come into reality for us. Situations from the past happen for a reason.
They are not meant to
imprison you towards moving forward towards your future with dread, but prior situations like these should strengthen you. Look at the positive side... now you know the pitfalls to avoid so you can always look forward to a terrific tomorrow.
If you don't, the alternative view will have a
powerful impact on the way your tomorrow turns out.
Guess what, this might surprise some of you, but when you approach your future with a "I am expecting a terrific tomorrow" attitude utilizing your past as a platform for strength instead of dread...your future now becomes 'wisdom based' and possibly
somewhat predictable.
"Wow!" Now you have a bright future ahead.
